Ukraine's General Staff confirms strikes on Russian command posts in Donetsk

The command posts were struck using air-launched missiles.

The General Staff also reported an attack on an enemy repair and recovery unit near Chonhar in Kherson Oblast, as well as a drone control point in Olenivka in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Enemy troop clusters were also struck near Novopetrivka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast and Voskhod in Crimea, the General Staff added.

On Aug. 26, powerful explosions and a massive missile strike on Donetsk were reported. Online reports described hits and wounded Russian troops.

OSINT analysts from the projects CyberBoroshno and Exilenova+ later reported that missiles struck a two-level underground parking garage of a residential complex in Donetsk, which was likely being used as a command post for a Russian military grouping.

According to Defense Express, Ukraine's Armed Forces may have struck Donetsk using new JDAM-LR cruise missiles with a range of 550 kilometers (about 340 miles), which the United States secretly supplied to Ukraine.
