Fire Point shows FP-1 drone attack on major Wildberries warehouse near Moscow

“Morning coffee with yesterday’s strike: the Wildberries logistics hub in Koledino — 250,000 square meters of hot footage,” the company captioned the video.

Moscow and surrounding Oblast came under drone attack overnight into July 16. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that Russian air defenses had shot down 201 drones in Moscow Oblast since Saturday evening. According to him, a total of 600 drones were headed toward Oblast.

Russian Telegram channels reported explosions and air defense activity in Domodedovo, Chekhov, the Stupino district and Podolsk.

A large fire reportedly broke out at a Wildberries logistics complex in Moscow Oblast following the drone attack. The warehouse complex was reported to cover more than 200,000 square meters.

Fire Point said the Wildberries logistics hub in the village of Koledino in Russia’s Moscow Oblast was struck by Ukrainian FP-1 drones.

The attack also caused the partial collapse of a 56,000-square-meter warehouse at the Severnoye Domodedovo complex, according to local authorities.

Strikes on Wildberries

Ukrainian strikes on Wildberries warehouses have grown in scale. According to Reuters, Ukrainian drones have targeted at least 20 of the company’s logistics centers, with some facilities completely destroyed by fires. Overall, the marketplace has lost about 1.18 million square meters of warehouse space.

On Aug. 16, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said Ukrainian forces had already disabled seven of Wildberries’ 10 largest logistics centers.

“Following a massive drone attack on Moscow Oblast, the company’s logistics hub at the Koledino industrial park also ceased operations, along with the warehouse in Domodedovo,” the ministry said.

The ministry said the Koledino facility was Wildberries’ largest warehouse, covering 250,000 square meters.

The attacks are already affecting the company’s operations and the Russian economy. Amid the loss of logistics capacity and an exodus of sellers, Wildberries’ turnover has fallen by about a quarter, according to available estimates.

Reuters, citing a source close to the Kremlin, also reported that Russia could face a wave of bankruptcies among entrepreneurs who sold goods through the marketplace and lost their products in attacks on its logistics centers.
