Ukraine’s Defense forces have eliminated Russian powerlifter and bodybuilder Konstantin Breus on the battlefield, Ukrainian outlet Glavkom wrote on May 6.
Breus won the world powerlifting championship in 2012 during a competition held in the Netherlands.
He also competed in bodybuilding contests and appeared in minor roles in Russian television series.
Later, he decided to voluntarily join the Russian army. He was considered missing in action for about six months, until his body was identified in early April this year.
Ukrainian forces had earlier eliminated Russian Paralympic medalist Aleksandr Rabotnitsky.
