Ukraine's Armed Forces allegedly seize three villages in Kursk Oblast, now present in 10 — Russian media

Kursk Oblast is facing "a difficult situation" in the Sudzha district, the Russians claim. Control line on the Rylsk-Sudzha highway is unknown, the so-called "war correspondents" pointed out.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly managed to expand its control zone along highway 38K-004 to the southeast, advancing towards the western suburb of Sudzha-Goncharovka, the Russians claimed.

Fighting seems to be underway in the settlement.

The tense situation remains in the village of Oleshnia, where the Russian soldiers are "practically encircled" in fighting.

Up to 400 Ukrainian soldiers are present in Kursk Oblast.

The Ukrainian command allegedly continues to deploy its reserves, Russian "military correspondents" claimed.

"A large concentration of Ukrainian formations is recorded in Yunakovka, from where they are heading through Basovka to Sverdlykovo or towards Goncharovka."

Ukrainian troops have advanced to a depth of 15 km, the front's width is 10-11 km, the propagandistic pro-war Telegram channel 'Dva Mayora' (Two Majors) claimed.

Ukraine's Armed Forces were allegedly present in 10 Kursk Oblast's settlements as of the evening of August 6, the Telegram channel wrote.

They are: Lyubimovka, Obukhovka, Pokrovskoe, Zelenyi Shlyakh, Tolstyi Lug, Nizhnyi Klin, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Daryino, Sverdlykovo, Lebedivka.

Ukraine was yet to comment these statements.

Battles in Kursk Oblast

Hostilities are ongoing in Kursk Oblast, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed on August 6. Ukraine was allegedly transferring its reserves, they added.

Ukraine's Armed Forces entering the Sudzha district, Kursk Oblast, was claimed by Russian propagandists on the morning of August 6. Three tanks with infantry heading towards the villages of Kurylovka and Goncharovka was reported by local media. The "breakthrough of the Armed Forces" had been stopped, the regional authorities claimed.

Ukraine did not officially comment on these events. Russian Volunteer Corps soldiers are not participating in the events in Kursk Oblast, an NV source in military intelligence reported.
