Olena Zelenska appears on Elle Lithuania cover for issue dedicated to Ukraine

A black-and-white photo of Olena Zelenska appears on the cover of Elle's September issue. The magazine shared the cover on Instagram.

"This September, our cover features Ukraine's first lady, Olena Zelenska. In an exclusive interview for ELLE Lithuania, she talks about an experience that may be impossible to fully comprehend — her country, its people and its future," the post said.

The image shows Zelenska looking into the photographer's camera through a car window.

In the interview, Zelenska also discussed cultural life during the war, children facing the hardships of war, education and the challenges it faces, among other topics.

In 2022, Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska posed for a photo shoot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz for the digital edition of American Vogue. In an article titled "Portrait of Bravery," Zelenska discussed her life after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and said those had been the most difficult months of her life.
