Late in the evening, a large fire broke out near the Kyiv-Chop highway in Kyiv Oblast’s Bucha district following a Russian drone attack. The Prosecutor General’s Office reported a fire and explosions at a facility in the village of Myla. According to prosecutors, at least five people were injured. One private home was destroyed and seven others were damaged, along with a nursing home.
The National Police said traffic had been closed to all vehicles in both directions between kilometers 15 and 32 of the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway.
Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi said he had received reports from the interior minister and the head of the State Emergency Service on the strike in the Bucha district. He said the tragedy in Vyshneve, where large-scale explosions were recently reported at ammunition warehouses, “had not served as a lesson.”
Myla is located about 30 kilometers from Kyiv and 18 kilometers from the city of Bucha.
