Ukraine resumes strikes on Ozon warehouses, Saratov hub halts operations

On Sept. 11, Russian company Ozon confirmed that its logistics center and delivery hub in Saratov came under a drone attack overnight, sparking a fire. Footage of the blaze had previously circulated on social media.

Ozon also acknowledged that it is currently not accepting new orders from customers in Saratov and surrounding Oblast and that some orders will be canceled.

Fire Point confirmed that its weapons were used in the strike.

In its infographic, NV looks back at previous Ukrainian strikes on Ozon, Russia's second-largest online marketplace. The company's first warehouse was hit on Aug. 22, 2026.

Ozon's operations

• Ozon controls 30% of Russia's e-commerce market.

• Russian businessman Alexander Chachava owns 34% of the company after acquiring the stake with funds from a company owned by Gennady Timchenko, a close associate of Vladimir Putin.

• Losses from destroyed goods and losses incurred by sellers as a result of the August strikes could exceed $10 billion.

• Ozon shares fell 27% on the Moscow Exchange following a series of strikes on Aug. 24, 2026.

• A total of 233,000 square meters (2.5 million square feet), or 6%, of the company's warehouse space was destroyed.
