Russia weeks away from having 10:1 advantage in artillery over Ukraine, US general warns

Without further U.S. military aid to Kyiv,
Russia will soon surpass Ukraine by a factor of ten in the number of artillery
shells fired daily, U.S. Army Gen. Christopher Cavoli told House Armed
Services Committee on April 10.
As reported by The Washington Post, Cavoli warned the U.S. Congress that the war in Ukraine has reached a “decisive moment.” He said that without further U.S. support, Ukraine would run out of artillery shells and anti-aircraft ammunition, adding that "the severity of this moment cannot be overstated."
“The side that can’t shoot back loses,” said Cavoli.
“The stakes are very high.”
On March 16, U.S.-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that Russia could make a significant breakthrough in the summer if the deficit of Western military aid to Ukraine persists.
