The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has released its updated world rankings, with Ukraine’s top player, Elina Svitolina, returning to the top 10.
Svitolina climbed back into the world’s top 10 following a strong run at the Australian Open, where she reached the semifinals. It marks her first return to the top tier since October 2021.
Among other Ukrainian players, Marta Kostyuk dropped three positions, while Dayana Yastremska fell 15 places. Oleksandra Oliynykova moved up one spot, and Yuliia Starodubtseva improved her ranking by eight places, moving closer to the top 100.

The biggest rise among Ukrainian players came from Katarina Zavatska, who jumped 26 positions to No. 306.
At the top of the WTA rankings, Aryna Sabalenka remains No. 1, followed by Iga Swiatek in second place. Elena Rybakina is third after winning the Australian Open title.
