Government offers round-the-clock help for businesses decentralizing food warehouses

Ukraine’s regional military administrations will provide around-the-clock assistance to companies with decentralizing their commercial warehouses and food storage facilities, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Viktor Mykyta announced on September 3.
Under an order from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, regional military administrations have activated an emergency response protocol across Ukraine to counter persistent Russian strikes on centralized supply chains.
To execute the strategy, regional military administrations are shifting to round-the-clock operations, establishing a “one-stop-shop” to handle corporate requests, and deploying specialized task forces to help businesses store inventory safely within local communities.
“Considering the current threats to the real economy from enemy strikes on centralized storage facilities, and at the direction of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, regional military administrations have activated the corresponding response protocol,” Mykyta said.
He explained that specialized task forces will identify potential relocation sites and help companies quickly launch operations. Businesses opening backup or additional facilities in other regions will receive full municipal support, including rapid land allocation, priority utility connections, and streamlined logistical solutions.
Additionally, regional logistics task forces are operating jointly with the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development.
The heads of regional military administrations will lead weekly online consultations on the Government and Business Dialogue platform to coordinate warehouse expansions, logistics operations, and immediate corporate relocations. Officials confirmed that the frequency of these sessions will scale up if corporate demand spikes.
“Regardless of where your production facilities or storage networks are located, regional military administrations are ready to promptly accept your request and provide proposals to streamline operations,” Mykyta added.
Following the initial wave of massive Russian strikes on logistics infrastructure in early August, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency and the State Property Fund began auditing and verifying state-managed warehouses to fast-track their transfer to affected private businesses.
