Circus tickets given as compensation to families of Russian occupiers killed in Ukraine, widows not welcome
The families of Russian soldiers mobilized in Tyumen Oblast and killed in Ukraine were given tickets to the circus as "compensation", the local news site 72.ru reported on June 8.
"I've heard circus tickets were distributed among families of conscripted soldiers who died," a local woman told the outlet.
The regional social department confirmed this.
“The local military office handed out the tickets according to their own lists," the officials said.
The tickets were given only to children of the eliminated "cannon fodder" — not to entire families. So, in Russia, widows pay for their own entertainment.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
