Olena Zelenska photographed by Annie Leibovitz in Kyiv makes cover of American Vogue
The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, has graced the cover of the digital version of the U.S. Vogue fashion magazine, on July 26.
The wife of the Ukrainian president starred in a photo shoot by cult photographer Annie Leibovitz, who was previously noticed in Kyiv. She came to the Ukrainian capital to take pictures with Zelenska.
"As the war in Ukraine enters a critical new phase, the country's First Lady, Olena Zelenska, has become a key player – a frontline diplomat and the face of her nation’s emotional toll," Vogue describes the protagonist.
A backstage video of the photo session with Zelenska was published on Vogue's official Instagram page. In it, she appears with Leibovitz, as well as with her husband, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
