Odesa port workers rescue wildlife after Kakhovka dam attack

Odesa port workers have rescued animals affected by the flooding caused by Russia's destruction of Kakhovka dam, the Odesa Zoo said on June 20.
"Odesa Sea Port Administration employees brought rescued animals who were affected by flooding from the Nova Kakhovka Reservoir," the zoo said.
A Eurasian coot chick, newts, marsh turtles and snakes have found temporary shelter at the zoo. They will be released into the wild at a later date.
