Ukrainian football star Dovbyk may join Italy’s US Salernitana

Artem Dovbyk, a forward with Ukrainian club FC Dnipro-1 and the national team, may join Italian top division side U.S. Salernitana, Italy’s Gianluca di Marzio online newspaper reported on Aug. 15.
Dovbyk, 25, could move to Salernitana on loan.
It is expected that the Italian football club may sign Dovbyk if he scores a certain number of goals and the club is not relegated from the top division Serie A at the end of the season.
Dovbyk’s contract with FC Dnipro-1 runs until late 2024.
Earlier Dovbyk’s agent announced the player’s possible transfer to FC Torino (Italy), while the football player together with his wife visited Turin and got acquainted with the club’s infrastructure.
It was also reported that the forward might continue his career at Nottingham Forest (England) or Fenerbahçe (Turkey).
