Bilateral talks, including discussions with China, are ongoing as the world anticipates the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, potentially pivotal in resolving Russia's war on Ukraine, Ukrainian FM Dmytro Kuleba said, La Stampa reported on March 20.

Beijing is weighing participation in the
Global Peace Summit set to occur before summer, as announced earlier by China's
ambassador to Switzerland, Wang Shixin.
The Chinese diplomat emphasized the need for
all parties to support direct dialogue between Russia and Ukraine to “gradually ease tensions.”
China's special representative, Li Hui, held
discussions with Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials in Moscow on
March 2, emphasizing the necessity of “resolving the conflict in Ukraine through
negotiations.”
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail
Galuzin and Li Hui stated on March 3 that addressing the conflict in Ukraine
must consider Russian interests.
