Donbas liberation may collapse Russian frontline, rock political situation in Russia, says Ukrainian official

The liberation of Luhansk or Donetsk oblasts will collapse the Russian frontline and could lead to political destabilization in Russia, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, tweeted on Sept. 13.
“First, Russia fights against civilians, so critical infrastructure facilities protection with air defense is obligatory,” he tweeted.
“Second, Luhansk/Donetsk liberation will cause domino effect, collapse ru-frontline and lead to political destabilization. It is possible. Weapons required.”
As reported on Sept. 12, the Ukrainian Army has already liberated Vysokopillia, Novovoznesensk, Bilohirka, Sukhyi Stavok, and Myroliubivka in Kherson Oblast.
U.S.-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported the Armed Forces had inflicted a major operational defeat on Russia, recapturing almost the entire Kharkiv Oblast in a rapid counter-offensive.
Although this will not put an end to the war, it has already turned its course in favor of Ukraine.
