Drone targeted Afip oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai

A drone exploded on the territory of the Afip oil refinery in the Seversky district of Russia's southwestern Krasnodar region at 3.24 a.m. on Oct. 29, causing a fire, the Baza Telegram channel has said in a post.
A resulting fire was brought under control by the refinery's fire department within half an hour, Russian authorities said, adding that there were no casualties. The cause of the fire is being investigated, the authorities said.
There have been several fires and explosions at Russian oil depots and refineries in recent months, which appear to have been caused by drone attacks. Russia typically blames Ukraine for the attacks, while Ukraine usually denies involvement.
Earlier in the night, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 36 Ukrainian drones had been shot down over the Black Sea and the northwestern part of Ukraine’s Russian-occupied Crimea, Baza said in its post.
There were also reports of the sounds of drones, explosions, and gunfire near Yevpatoria, in west-central Crimea.
