Ten European allies promise $111 million to help Ukraine protect civilians, infrastructure, and frontline pers

An alliance of 10 of Ukraine’s European allies announced a new aid package for air defense equipment for Ukraine worth EUR 103 million ($111.125 million), the British government announced on its website.
The defense ministers of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Great Britain made the decision on June 13.
“Equipment worth GBP 92 million ($111.125 million) will be procured in the coming months through the International Fund for Ukraine to strengthen Ukraine’s ability to protect its critical national infrastructure, civilians, and front-line personnel,” the statement reads.
The package includes “radar to protect against indiscriminate Russian strikes, as well as guns, and a significant amount of ammunition.”
Earlier, the U.S. State Department announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $325 million, which includes, in particular, armored vehicles.
