Ukraine hits Russian oil depot in Kursk Oblast, ignites blaze
Ukrainian forces successfully attacked an oil depot in Russia's Kursk Oblast, setting off a fire at the facility, the Ukrainian General Staff confirmed on Facebook on July 30.
"Last night, the enemy's oil depot, Logistics Center No. 43, in the village of Vozy, Kursk Oblast, Russia, was successfully hit," the report said.
Detailed information about the aftermath of the attack is still being gathered.
The strike was carried out by Ukraine’s SBU security service in coordination with other Ukrainian military units.
"The Armed Forces will continue to take all necessary measures to weaken the military-economic capabilities of the Russian invaders and force them to end their armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff said.
Local Telegram channels reported strong explosions in Kursk overnight.
The General Staff earlier reported that Ukrainian forces struck the Polevaya oil depot in Kursk Oblast on July 28.
