Casualties mount in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast: 11 killed, 43 injured in Russian strikes

Eleven people were killed and 43 others injured in a series of Russian attacks on Donetsk Oblast over the past day, regional Governor Vadym Filashkin reported on Telegram on July 6.
Two Russian glide bombs killed five civilians and injured 15 others in the settlement of Selydove. Twenty-one private houses, three administrative buildings, one enterprise, shops, a market and 21 cars were damaged in the attack.
Three people were killed in the city of Chasiv Yar, another two in the towns of Toretsk and Ukrainsk.
The highest number of casualties was reported in the village of Komar, where the Russian airstrike killed a 32-year-old village council employee and wounded 18 other civilians.
On July 5, the DeepState monitoring group reported small advances by Russian forces near New York, Druzhba (Toretsk sector), Novoselivka Persha (Pokrovsk sector), and Ocheretyne in Donetsk region.
