Three Columbian citizens and Ukrainian writer injured in Kramatorsk strike

A Russian missile strike on the city of Kramatorsk has left three Columbian citizens, as well as their escort, Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelina, injured, the Aguanta Ucrania NGO reported on June 27.
Colombian politician Sergio Jaramillo, writer Héctor Abad Faciolince, and journalist Catalina Gómez Ángel were identified as the Columbian citizens in question. They sustained minor injuries.
Amelina, who suffered a severe injury, is a Ukrainian writer and public figure. She is a laureate of the Joseph Conrad-Kozenyovsky Literary Prize. In 2016, two of Amelina's books became finalists in the competition held by the "Zaporizhzhya Book Spindle - 2016" festival: the novel "Autumn Syndrome, or Homo Compatiens" and the children's book "Someone, or The Water Heart."
Amelina is also the founder of the New York Literary Festival in Donetsk region. She read Oleg Sentsov's stories translated into English at the Frankfurt Book Fair and participated in numerous actions in support of his release from Russian captivity.
On the evening of June 27, Russian invasion forces launched two missile strikes with the Iskander missile system on Kramatorsk in Donetsk region. The missiles hit a café in the city center where many people were present. As of the morning of June 28, eight fatalities have been confirmed, including three minors, and 60 people have been injured.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
