Civilian enterprise and homes hit in Kharkiv drone attack
Russia launched a series of UAV strikes on Kharkiv, at least seven strikes occurred in various districts of the city, regional governor Oleh Synehubov reported on June 25.
"a 64-year-old man was injured in the enemy attack," he wrote an hour later.
According to updated information from Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov,
"The city was attacked by seven Shahed-type drones," Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote.
“All the strikes hit the Kyivskyi district — targeting a civilian enterprise and an area near an unoccupied residential building.”
Russian forces also struck the town of Kupyansk.
As a result of a guided aerial bomb hitting the ground, a nine-story residential building in Kupyansk was damaged. Five people were injured and are receiving necessary medical assistance, Synehubov reported.
In Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district, a civilian enterprise was hit. The extent of the damage is still being assessed. Preliminary reported indicated no casualties. Emergency services quickly arrived on site to evaluate and respond to the situation.
Another strike occurred in Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district, igniting a three-story building. As of now, emergency services are working at the scene. Information about possible casualties or injuries is being updated.
Russian drone activity remains ongoing over the city. Kharkiv residents are urged to stay in shelters and follow safety protocols until the air raid alert is officially lifted.
