More than 600,000 people evacuated by railways from Kharkiv, governor says

Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine’s state railway company, has evacuated more than 600,000 people from Kharkiv under constant shelling of Russian occupiers, Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Synyehubov has said in a statement.
“The enemy slowed down their offensive actions, realizing that attempts to invade Kharkiv were vain. We hold our positions,” his message reads.
Synyehubov has added Russian troops, as well as Russian saboteurs’ groups have not breached the defense of Kharkiv over the past 24 hours.
“Our military is getting new weapons and personnel replacement. And most importantly, they have a strong fighting spirit,” Synyehubov said.
