Two teenagers hospitalized, one critically, after Russian kamikaze drone attack near Nikopol
A 13-year-old child in serious condition and a 19-year-old teenager in moderate condition were hospitalized after a Russian kamikaze drone hit a car in Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Serhiy Lysak reported on Telegram on Jan. 17.
"The Russians continue to attack civilians,” he wrote, adding that the medics continued to fight for the child’s life.
“They are villains. They will pay for everything."
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast has been routinely attacked since very the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Several residences were heavily damaged after Russia targeted the communities of Nikopol and Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight on Jan. 15, Lysak wrote on Telegram.
The invaders used 11 kamikaze drones in the attack on the two communities, while also separately shelling Nikopol.
On Jan. 9, Russian invaders launched kamikaze drones equipped with night vision cameras at Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast for the first time.
