We will ‘bring millions of Ukrainians home’ if we have enough air defense systems – Zelenskyy

The presence of adequate air defense systems in Ukraine was highlighted as crucial for the safe return of millions of Ukrainians to their homes, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during the Munich Security Conference on Feb. 17.
“Some have claimed that there is no effective defense against Russian missiles,” he said.
“But we know for a fact that Patriot and some other air defense systems can shoot down any Russian missile.”
Zelenskyy also thanked all European countries for their good attitude towards Ukrainian refugees and expressed hope that they would return home despite everything. The Ukrainian authorities will do everything possible to make this happen.
“And, of course, our economy will be able to regain its independence from external support,” he added.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
