Red Cross' inaction and the situation in Kherson Oblast through Katia Osadcha's view

Ukrainian journalist and TV host Katia Osadcha expressed her outrage about Red Cross' inaction and called on people to help with the ongoing evacuation in Kherson Oblast on her Instagram page on June 6.
"'People stop boat engines so as not to cling (hit) bodies (in water),' everything happening in the flooding zone doesn't fit into my head. Meanwhile THE INTERNATIONAL RED CROSS IS DOING NOTHING!!! Oleshky, Hola Prystan, and dozens of other settlements!!! People are blocked in their houses and are drowning! The ICRC has access both sides of the "conflict" but hasn't shown any initiative in saving Ukrainians from the (Russian) occupied areas. That's what this organisation was created for, why the Geneva Conventions were written for!!! They are for saving people!!! Inaction equals murder!!! I called to help Ukrainians under occupation, to leave immediately (to get to) the scene, and for Russia to evacuate people!" Osadcha said.
Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba agreed with the sentiment, calling out UN and ICRC inaction regarding the Kahkovka dam breach on the Snidanok 1+1 morning show, and comparing this situation to the beginning of the full-scale war:
"The problem is not with the desire to do something, but rather with the procedures that slow down the process of deployment of the international missions at the affected areas. It's about the UN and we are accelerating the process. We've worked with them throughout the last two days. My colleagues in the government and I will continue to work with them today. We’re going to reach the peak capacity of the UN organisations. It's more complicated with the Red Cross because of its complicated policies on neutrality and never compromising itself. It's way different thing. Therefore, we can state they weren't able to act promptly. However, we'll continue to push on them and to help them when they need it so they will also present in full there (in the flooding zone)," he said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
