Russian morning strike on Ukraine: Kharkiv gas pipeline emergency resolved
A gas pipeline rupture in Kharkiv caused Russia’s attack on Jan. 23 has been fixed, the Naftogaz press service said.
"Russia attacked a medium-pressure gas pipeline in Ukraine's Kharkiv in the morning of January 23,” said the statement.
“This was the largest such incident in the city's gas infrastructure this winter. Emergency response teams swiftly arrived on-site to contain the damage. Repair work will continue until the fire is extinguished and consequences fully addressed.”
Gas delivery to the homes of Kharkiv residents will resume as soon as the necessary repair work is complete.
