Russia, China exploring paths for military collaboration, says Pentagon
Russia and China are actively seeking avenues for military cooperation, a development that the United States is closely monitoring and prepared to address if necessary, according to Pentagon spokesperson General Patrick Rider on Aug. 8.
“It should come as no surprise that China and Russia continue to explore ways of (military) collaboration. We will continue to monitor this situation and respond appropriately,” he stated.
The remarks were in response to questions regarding joint maneuvers by Russia and China in close proximity to the Aleutian Islands in the state of Alaska.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
