Kropyvnytskyi struck with Russian ballistic missiles from Crimea, Air Force says
Russia attacked the city of Kropyvnytskyi on Dec. 23 with ballistic missiles launched from occupied Crimea, Air Force spokesperson Yuriy Ihnat reported on national television.
The missiles appeared to have missed their intended targets, as no preliminary damage or consequences were reported from the attack.
An air raid alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine at about 10 a.m. on Dec. 23. Explosions were heard in the central Ukrainian cities of Kropyvnytskyi and Kryvyi Rih.
Russia also attacked Ukraine with Iranian-designed Shahed suicide drones late on Dec. 22. Air defense forces destroyed all nine of the targets.
