Deadly Russian bombings on Easter Sunday leave one dead and 20 injured in Kharkiv

The casualty toll from a Russian glide bomb assault on downtown Kharkiv on Easter Sunday has escalated, with 16 people now reported injured, including a 25-year-old woman in critical condition, regional Governor Oleh Synehubov disclosed via Telegram on May 6.
Fourteen apartment buildings, three cars, a medical facility, a dormitory, an office building, eight private houses, garages, a cafe, and three private houses in the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district were damaged in the enemy attack with three bombs, according to Mayor Igor Terekhov.
A 59-year-old woman was injured in another Russian attack on the nearby village of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhivskyi district. According to Synehubov, several administrative and educational facilities, as well as a court building, and 10 private houses were damaged in the overnight bomb strike.
An 88-year-old woman was killed and three other civilian men, aged 34, 66 and 79, were injured in the villages of Monachynivka and Kivsharivka in the Kupyanskyi district of Kharkiv Oblast, which were also attacked by the enemy with a glide bomb and MLRS strike on May 5.
