Russian missiles target Zaporizhzhya, striking an industrial zone
Russia launched two missiles towards the city of Zaporizhzhya on Oct. 24, with one striking the grounds of an industrial zone, Zaporizhzhya regional governor Yuriy Malashko reported.
The missiles, believed to have been ballistic projectiles, were launched at approximately 11:27 a.m., according to Ukrainian authorities.
One of the missiles hit the premises of a local enterprise, and the location of the second missile is currently being clarified, Malashko said. The strike is said to have damaged some of the structures in the industrial zone, but no casualties have thus far been reported.
Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using Iranian Shahed suicide drones overnight on Oct. 23. Air defenses successfully intercepted all of the unmanned aerial vehicles.
