Russian drones maneuvered between residential and industrial quarters in Odesa — Humeniuk
Russian drones maneuvered in Odesa’s residential and industrial quarters overnight on March 5, Southern Defense Forces spokesperson, Natalia Humeniuk, reported.
“Odesa suffered a powerful enemy drone attack that night, 18 drones were destroyed by air defense forces, but the hits were inevitable” she said on the air of a national telethon.
“The enemy used the same insidious tactics this time, when drones maneuvered in residential and industrial quarters of the million-plus city."
Drones were also maneuvering in Odesa suburbs, she added.
"Considering the fact that there are many facilities of the port infrastructure, there was a threat from this direction as well," she emphasized.
“A recreational object was targeted, several buildings were destroyed there, and a fire broke out,” Humeniuk reported.
“The facility has not been used since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, as a result, fortunately, no one was injured."
The shock wave also damaged private property, she also said.
