Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that the Ministry of Return of Ukrainians will create a strategy to bring citizens back from abroad.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized Ukraine’s focus on the 7.5 million Ukrainians abroad, explaining that the strategy for their return, currently managed by various ministries, will be consolidated under a dedicated Ministry of Return.
Shmyhal noted that while not everyone may return, the new ministry will coordinate efforts to help those who want to come back while recognizing the vital contributions Ukrainians abroad make through support, protests, and donations.
He added that the government is working on effective strategies to organize the process, focusing on countries with large Ukrainian populations.
