Ukrainian border guards shot
down a Shahed kamikaze drone over Chernihiv Oblast, the north of Ukraine,
during the May 28 massive drone attack, shows a video posted by Ukraine’s State Border Guard
Service (SBGS) on Telegram.
"During the air attack last night, SBGS troops together with the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down an enemy Shahed. After the target was identified, Ukrainian soldiers opened fire with small arms and other available equipment," the message reads.
The Shahed drone fell in the field before reaching the target.
Air alert was declared in a number of oblasts on the night of May 28. Russia conducted the most massive drone attack on the capital of Ukraine and other areas.
During the attack, 52 out of 54 launched barrage munitions were shot down by Ukrainian air defense.
