Death toll rises to 8 in Dnipro July 3 attack
Another woman injured in the Russian combined attack on Dnipro on July 3 has died in a hospital, raising the death toll to eight, Dnipropetrovsk Governor Serhiy Lysak reported on Telegram on July 5.
The woman was 72, he said.
Russian forces launched Shahed drone attacks on Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, on the evening of July 4 and the morning of July 5, Lysak added.
Infrastructure, a private house, and a minibus were damaged. There were no casualties reported.
The attack on Dnipro on July 3
A series of explosions was heard in Dnipro in the morning on July 3. The Ukraine's Air Force warned of an attack by drones and missiles at the same time.
The Apollo shopping center, three hospitals, schools and kindergartens were damaged in the city in the Russian attack.
It became known about three dead people initially, later President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the number of dead people increased to five.
At least 55 people were injured.
July 4 was declared a day of mourning in Dnipro.
