Several people were killed and wounded in a Russian overnight attack on Myrnohrad, Donetsk Oblast, the city administration reported on Telegram on Feb. 23.
The attack took place around 12:40 a.m. The exact number of casualties and details of the attack are not yet known.
Russian forces targeted another Ukrainian city of Odesa with drones and missiles the same night, hitting a civilian facility and killing three people, Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper reported.
A drone plummeted into a facility along Odesa’s shoreline, sparking a fire. A security guard was rescued from the damaged building without injury. The bodies of three victims were discovered under the debris, marking the end of the search-and-rescue operation, according to the latest information from the Oblast Military Administration.
Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhiy Lysak also reported a devastating late-night drone attack orchestrated by Russian forces on Feb. 23 which struck an apartment building in Dnipro with Shahed drones, causing numerous casualties and trapping residents under the rubble.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
