Two killed following Russian nighttime attack on Zaporizhzhya

Two people were killed during Russia’s overnight strike on Zaporizhzhya on Oct. 18 after a five-story apartment building was hit, regional governor Yuriy Malashko stated. Three individuals were injured and are hospitalized. Another three may still be trapped under the debris.
The rescue operation is ongoing.
Russia used S-300 surface-to-air missiles. Preliminary information indicates there were six missile strikes between 1:33am and 1:48am, with a flight time from launch to the city ranging from 32 to 42 seconds. Three of the impacts have been located, but efforts continue to find the other three.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the attack, stating that Russian terrorism must be defeated. He offered condolences to the families and ensured that Ukraine will do everything in its power to ensure that Russia faces consequences.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
