Ukraine continues offensive south of Bakhmut, achieves success west of Verbove – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces maintain a strong defense in the Avdiivka sector, inflicting significant losses on the Russian occupiers still attempting to surround the city, the Ukrainian General Staff reported on Facebook on Oct. 25.
The enemy's offensive operations in Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast were unsuccessful, with more than ten attacks repelled by the Tavria operational-strategic group.
- Kupyansk sector – Ten enemy attacks were repelled near Synkivka and Ivanivka by the Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping;
- Lyman sector – The Ukrainian Armed Forces maintained their defense and have successfully repelled all enemy attacks around Nadiya and Makiyivka in Luhansk Oblast;
- Bakhmut sector – Russia launched 10 unsuccessful attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive south of the city, inflicting losses on the enemy's personnel and equipment, and consolidating their positions.
- Mariupol sector – Ukrainian forces repelled more than 20 enemy attacks near Maryinka and Pobeda in Donetsk Oblast.
- Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhya sectors – All Russian attacks in Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, and Staromykhailivka south of Zolota Nyva in Donetsk Oblast, as well as southeast of Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast were repulsed;
- Melitopol sector – The Ukrainian Armed Forces continued their offensive operation and achieved partial success west of Verbove, inflicting personnel and equipment losses on the enemy forces;
- Kherson sector – The Odesa operational-strategic grouping continues counter-battery warfare, conducting artillery strikes on the enemy's rear positions.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
