Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law to improve the operations of the Medical and Social Expert Commission on Nov. 18.
The new Law No. 11225 allows Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) meetings to be held online, saving time and money for patients.
Disability determinations can now be made based on medical documents, eliminating the need for in-person visits.
Commission findings will be entered into the electronic health care system (EHS), improving access to data, increasing transparency, and speeding up decision-making.
