Ukrainian soldier triumphs with prostheses, reveals inspiring rehabilitation journey

Ukrainian soldier Vitalii, who lost both of his legs in fighting against Russian invasion forces, has begun adapting to life with prostheses after undergoing treatment.
The entire rehabilitation process was meticulously documented on the Superhumans' Instagram account on Dec. 15.
Vitalii mastered various prostheses, initially starting with mechanical ones and progressing to advanced versions with electronic knees. Superhumans provided insights into his daily rehabilitation routine, spanning from sports activities to hydrotherapy.
“No matter the challenges, Vitalii never complained; he steadfastly pursued his goal," Superhumans said.
Vitalii achieved remarkable milestones, including learning to sit and stand up, mastering walking with two and then one crutch, and conquering stairs both ascending and descending.
"When he first managed to rise independently from a lying position, everyone around applauded," the center said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
