Ukrainian forces kill around 50 Russian soldiers, capture 4 during liberation of Storozhove
During the liberation of the village of Storozhove, the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed about 50 enemy troops and captured another four, the Ukrainian Navy reported on Telegram on June 12.
"As part of counter-offensive actions, Odesa marines liberated the village of Storozhove, Donetsk Oblast, which had been under occupation since March 2022," the statement said.
As a result of stabilization operations in the village, about fifty racists (Russian fascists) were killed, and four were taken prisoner.
"Today, the national flag flies again over Storozhove, and it will be the same for every settlement until we liberate all Ukrainian land," the message reads.
Ukrainian troops liberated Storozhove, which is in Donetsk Oblast, early on June 12.
On June 11, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar said that Ukrainian troops had de-occupied Makarivka in Donetsk Oblast. She also confirmed the liberation of nearby Blahodatne in Donetsk Oblast.
Earlier, soldiers of the 7th separate battalion of the Arei Ukrainian Volunteer Army of the 129th Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on June 10, the Defense Forces liberated the village of Neskuchne, Volnovakha district, Donetsk Oblast.
