Russia’s air supremacy biggest strategic edge over Ukraine – Zelenskyy
Currently the biggest strategic advantage of Russia over Ukraine is the advantage in the sky, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at the opening ceremony of the International Confererance on Reconstruction of Ukraine on June 11.
"We can drive the Russian army from our land, we won the Black Sea battle and proved that thanks to modern air defense systems, we can destroy any Russian missiles and drones," President said.
"What is the key here? The ability to deprive Russia of this or that advantage. As of now, Russia's biggest strategic advantage over Ukraine is its advantage in the sky."
Zelenskyy noted that missile and bomb terror helps Russian advance on the frontline and destroy lives of Ukrainians.
President also thanked German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for providing Ukraine with air defense systems.
