Zelenskyy condemns Hamas attack on Israel, says country has right to defend itself
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has condemned the massive terrorist attack on Israel, carried out by Palestinian group Hamas, in a statement on Oct. 7.
"Nowhere in the world should we give terror a single chance, because terror is always criminal; Not only against a country or its specific victims, but against humanity and our entire world," Zelenskyy said.
Israel has an unquestionable right to defend itself Zelenskyy said, and called for those responsible to be held to account.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and the embassy in Israel are ready to help their fellow citizens, Zelenskyy said. He called on Ukrainians in the country to follow the instructions of security forces on the ground and to closely monitor the situation.
"If you need help, please immediately contact one of our diplomatic or consular missions in any way available to you," Zelenskyy said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
