Russian forces attacked civilian infrastructure in the city of Konotop in Sumy Oblast, Mayor Artem Semenikhin said on June 11.
At 7:45 a.m., Semenikhin said the strike had damaged the gas supply network, with emergency gas crews working at the scene. A 42-year-old woman sustained a shrapnel wound to her leg and is receiving outpatient treatment.
At 8:18 a.m., Semenikhin said that Russian strikes had left Konotop without electricity and water supply. Water is being distributed according to a schedule, and residents were urged to stock up on supplies, the mayor said.
Overnight into June 11, Russian forces launched a combined aerial assault on Ukraine using missiles, guided aerial bombs and attack drones. According to Ukrainian authorities, Russia deployed:
two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, none of which were intercepted;
221 drones, including Shahed attack drones (among them jet-powered variants), Gerbera and Italmas drones, as well as Parodiya decoy drones, of which 195 were shot down.
