Russian strike hits Sumy gas station, three injured and fire breaks out

Three people were injured after a Russian strike hit a gas station in Sumy, Ukrainian emergency services said on July 5.
The strike sparked a fire at the gas station, raising the risk that the flames could spread further.
"Despite the threat of repeated strikes, firefighters extinguished all the fires," Ukraine's State Emergency Service said.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, said three women, aged 20, 47 and 55, were injured in the attack.
"Their condition is satisfactory. They have undergone medical examinations and are receiving outpatient treatment," he said.
On the evening of July 3, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Sumy using guided aerial bombs and drones. A guided bomb strike on one of the city's central streets killed at least four people, including a 5-year-old child. According to Sumy regional Gov. Oleh Hryhorov, another 33 people were injured.
