Ukrainian strikes knock out 8 of Wildberries’ 10 largest Russian hubs

A Wildberries warehouse in Russia’s Tambov Oblast stopped operating after a new Ukrainian strike, becoming the eighth of the company’s 10 largest logistics centers to be knocked out, independent Russian outlet Agentstvo.Novosti reported on Aug. 26.
Ukrainian forces struck the Wildberries logistics complex in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, overnight on Aug. 25-26.
A massive fire broke out at the facility after the attack, covering an area of about 100,000 square meters (1.1 million square feet) and effectively halting warehouse operations.
The Kotovsk facility became the eighth of Wildberries’ 10 largest logistics centers to cease operations following Ukrainian strikes since mid-July, the outlet calculated.
Seven other major Wildberries warehouses had previously been knocked out:
- Elektrostal and Koledino in Moscow Oblast, each covering about 250,000 square meters (2.7 million square feet). The Elektrostal facility burned down following a July 18 attack, while the Koledino warehouse stopped operating after strikes and a fire on Aug. 16;
- Novaya Usman in Voronezh Oblast, covering 156,000 square meters (1.7 million square feet), has been out of operation since an Aug. 11 attack;
- Krasny Bor in Leningrad Oblast, covering 154,000 square meters (1.66 million square feet), stopped operating after an Aug. 4 attack;
- Aleksin in Tula Oblast, covering 150,000 square meters (1.61 million square feet), has been out of operation since an Aug. 5 attack;
- Novosemeykino in Samara Oblast, covering 128,000 square meters (1.38 million square feet), stopped operating following an Aug. 2 attack;
- Sobinsky district in Vladimir Oblast, covering 119,000 square meters (1.28 million square feet), has been out of operation since an Aug. 3 attack.
More than 1.3 million square meters (14 million square feet) of the roughly 1.6 million square meters (17.2 million square feet) occupied by Wildberries’ 10 largest warehouses have now been taken out of operation — more than 81% of the total, Agentstvo.Novosti reported.
Explosions and a large fire were reported in Kotovsk overnight.
Ukrainian defense company Fire Point later confirmed that Ukraine’s Defense Forces used FP-1 drones to strike the Wildberries logistics hub in Tambov Oblast, as well as an oil refinery in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
The Kotovsk center is one of Wildberries’ key logistics facilities in central Russia. It began operating in 2025 and, once at full capacity, was expected to store up to 54 million items, monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported.
The Kotovsk warehouse had previously been struck on July 18.
Local authorities claimed at the time that seven employees were killed in the resulting fire, and operations at the facility were suspended.
