Ukraine's Deposit Guarantee Fund has completed the liquidation of Natsionalni Investytsii Bank (National Investments Bank), according to a fund statement on Aug. 5.
"In accordance with the Law of Ukraine 'On the Household Deposit Guarantee System,' on Aug. 4, 2026, an entry was made in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations regarding the state registration of the termination of JSC Bank Natsionalni Investytsii as a legal entity," the fund said in its statement. “Accordingly, the bank's liquidation is considered complete, and the bank itself is considered liquidated.”
The Deposit Guarantee Fund's authority as the bank's liquidator has been terminated. The fund also announced that guaranteed compensation payments to depositors of Natsionalni Investytsii Bank ceased as of Aug. 4, 2026.
Background
In September 2015, the National Bank of Ukraine decided to classify Natsionalni Investytsii Bank as insolvent, and in December 2015 ordered its liquidation.
The bank was registered in November 1993; its ultimate beneficiaries were Nataliia Ohorodnyk and Oleksandr Biloshkap.
Previously, the Deposit Guarantee Fund completed the liquidation of Concord Joint-Stock Commercial Bank in May.
The fund also completed liquidation proceedings for PJSC JSCCB Capital.
