Russian drone attack damages high-voltage line in Kyiv – DTEK

A Russian drone attack on Kyiv on Oct. 31 resulted in damage to a high-voltage line operated by the DTEK energy company, its press service reported on Telegram.
"Today, due to the fall of an enemy drone in the capital, a high-voltage line of DTEK was damaged," the message reads.
“Thanks to automatic switching, the lights in Kyiv homes did not go out. However, the line requires substantial restoration. Energy workers continue to repair it.”
The air defense system earlier neutralized all drones threatening Kyiv overnight on Oct. 30. As a result of the debris falling, damage was reported in the Podilskyi district.
The UAVs approached Kyiv in waves and from different directions, with air raid alerts being sounded twice during the night.
The debris caused damage to windows in two two-story residential buildings and one administrative building.
This was the twentieth aerial attack on the capital in October, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported. Throughout the month, air raid sirens sounded almost daily, on average twice a day. Over the 31 days of October, there was only one day without an air raid warning.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
