Russian forces strike two critical infrastructure facilities in Sumy Oblast
Russian invaders damaged a post office and two critical infrastructure facilities in Sumy Oblast, the North Operational Command reported on Facebook on Aug. 4.
The enemy used a 120-mm mortar and anti-aircraft guns during the shelling of Myropil, destroying two buildings and damaging two tractors, two minibuses, and a car. In Manukhivka, two explosions were heard, likely from FPV drones, damaging a critical infrastructure facility and a post office building. Druzhba was hit by 122-mm artillery, causing damage to another critical infrastructure object.
The North Operational Command reported 41 instances of shelling from various weapons on Aug. 3. The State Emergency Service confirmed that firefighters extinguished fires in several buildings and inspected the affected areas. Information on casualties or further destruction is being clarified.
