Achievements and ammunition discussed at recent meeting of Ukrainian military command

The President, along with high-ranking Ukrainian military officials, discussed the situation on the front lines and listened to reports from field commanders, the General Staff, military intelligence, the the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industry, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address on June 9.
“Our attention is focus in all directions in which our actions are needed and where the enemy can suffer some given defeats,” he told the Ukrainian people.
“(We discussed) our defensive operations, our active operations, and our achievements on the front. We also discussed in detail the delivery and supply of ammunition and the strengthening of our artillery and air defense.”
Zelenskyy also addressed Ukrainian defenders who are currently experiencing heavy combat in certain areas of the front.
“We see your heroism and we are grateful to you for every minute of our lives – lives that absolutely form the life of Ukraine, because Ukraine is as free as you, our soldiers, are strong,” he told them.
“Ukraine is as defended as you, our soldiers, are effective. For every one of you who is currently fighting – it’s Ukraine that’s fighting. Thank you for that!”
Earlier, a representative for Ukraine’s southern grouping of forces, Serhiy Cherevatyi, stated that the Armed Forces have begun an assault in the Bakhmut area, taking advantage of Russia’s rotation of forces. These assault operations have been ongoing for several days, he stated, and Ukrainian defenders have managed to liberate 1.2 km of territory in the span of a day.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
